Unforgettable Days in Hilo
Since our arrival in Hilo, life has been full of excitement and new experiences. We’ve been fortunate to meet wonderful friends who have shared their love for this beautiful island. It’s March 8th, and the past 23 days have been a mix of wedding planning, putting in some serious effort on our boat, and helping out friends with theirs, all while enjoying the breathtaking views of Hilo Bay. We’ve been stargazing as the planets lined up overhead and even took a nighttime dinghy ride looking for manta rays. Seeing the Kilauea volcanic eruption from our boat was incredible, reminding us just how powerful nature can be.
We’ve had an amazing time checking out the lush trails to Onemea Falls and soaking in the views of Rainbow Falls, big thanks to Kiko and Sammie for showing us around. The local ranch visits gave us a fun peek into the island’s agricultural scene, and our dinner parties with friends have been all about tasty food, good vibes, and great stories. Hilo has embraced us with open arms, and we can’t wait for Logan and Cash to arrive on March 13 so we can dive into even more adventures on this beautiful island.
