EXPLORING ISLA SAN FRANCISCO

We arrived on December 30 and enjoyed three unforgettable days at Isla San Francisco welcoming the new year. Each day was filled with adventure, from hiking through breathtaking landscapes with steep cliffside views to snorkeling and paddle-boarding in the crystal-clear waters teeming with fascinating marine life. We tried our hand at spearfishing, with Alex successfully catching a delicious grouper that we cooked up for dinner, and we relished our time lounging on the pristine beach under the warm sun. Moreover, we discovered a mesmerizing salt pond that added an extra layer of magic to our already extraordinary journey, making it feel like we were living in a dream.
EXPERIENCE ISLA SAN FRANCISCO

Isla San Francisco stands out as one of the southern Sea of Cortez’s most sought-after anchorages, thanks to its close proximity to La Paz and its stunning crescent-shaped bay. The pristine white sand beaches beautifully contrast with the vibrant blue waters and the striking burnt-red cliffs that form part of the National Park system. This picture-perfect cove offers exceptional opportunities for hiking, snorkeling, fishing, and simply relaxing on the shore. Additionally, the main bay offers excellent protection from the wind and waves during the northerly blows of winter.
